Audrey McManiman grew up competing in snowboarding, mainly slopestyle. In 2012, she won gold in slopestyle for Team Canada at the first Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck. Since 2016, the athlete has distinguished herself in snowboard cross.

In her Olympic debut at Beijing 2022, McManiman made it all the way to the quarter-finals, finishing 11th in the final standings. A month later, she stood on her first World Cup podium after winning bronze in Reiteralm, Austria.

During the 2016-2017 season, Audrey joined the Nor-Am Cup snowboard cross circuit, having made her freestyle debut a few years earlier. Thanks to her podium finishes, she won the overall Coupe Nor-Am snowboard cross title.

In 2019-2020 Audrey splits her season between the NorAm and World Cup circuits. In February 2021, she qualified for her first small World Cup final, finishing seventh overall in Reiteralm. Thanks to further good results at the start of the 2022 season, Audrey earns her ticket to her first Olympic Games in Beijing.
