After making his Olympic debut in Beijing 2022, Arnaud ended the season by once again winning the Nor-Am Cup overall title. Since his debut on the World Cup circuit, the Quebec City athlete has four top-16 finishes in parallel giant slalom.

Gaudet won the bronze medal in parallel giant slalom at the 2020 FIS Junior World Championships. He also won three consecutive titles in the overall standings of the Nor-Am Cup parallel snowboard disciplines from 2018 to 2020. In 2018-2019, he never finished off the podium in eight Nor-Am Cup races. He has five wins in 2019-2020, for a career total of 12.

Gaudet competed in his first World Cup events in the second half of the 2016-2017 season. He posted his best career result in January 2021 when he finished sixth in a parallel slalom event in Moscow.
